Less production means more freedom to plan a day that is 100% perfectly you.
My favorite couples live in the moment, follow their hearts, love big, are up for an adventure, and aren't afraid to get their formal wear a little dirty in the process. Are you nodding your head and saying "This is us!" but don't know where to start? Don't worry...I've got you. Need vendor recs? I know some peeps. Not sure where to say "I DO"? I'll match you with your dream location. I'm here to be more than just your photographer. Don't get me wrong, photography is important (I'll get you tons of epic photos). But you loving your day, truly living in the moment with your partner, and being able to be 100% your authentic self, that is so much more important than getting "the shot". We'll hop on the phone (or better yet Facetime!) and I'll answer ALL your burning questions. I can't wait to hear about your love story, wedding vision, any date and location ideas you have. By the end I hope we'll feel like we've known each other way longer than we have.

Make it official and save your date
Woohoo!!! Let's do this thing! After we've finalized a date and general location, I'll send over a contract for the two of you to sign. Once you sign the contract and pay your 50% retainer, we are officially OFFICIAL!!

Now for the fun part! Based on your preferences we discussed, I'll send over a curated location list and we'll spend the next few months crafting YOUR *perfect* day. Quite simply because you DESERVE it!! Just because you're choosing to forego having a large traditional wedding does NOT mean your day is less than. This is your wedding day! It's more than just a ceremony and some formal portraits. This is the day you and your partner are choosing to commit your lives to each other. And that, my friend, deserves to be documented. Don't worry. Your day isn't going to be an all day marathon photoshoot. Booking a full day elopement allows us the time to relax, breath, completely live in the moment, and craft an experience that is perfect for you!
Of course! Your day is all about you, and I want to include those nearest and dearest to your heart. I do, however, want to ensure that the day stays focused on documenting your love for each other. Therefore, I typically do not except events with a guest list over 40. Your wedding should be an intimate experience shared with those closest to you! I want each and every guest you choose to include to be there intentionally supporting the two of you and your new marriage. You definitely should not spend it shaking hands and mingling with your parent's co-workers. If you have questions regarding this, shoot me an email and we can discuss what size guest list you're thinking.
Since every day is unique, the number of delivered images varies from couple to couple. While I can't guarantee a specific number, in general I deliver between 40 and 60 images per hour of shooting. Your images will be delivered via an online gallery where you will be able to download and save your photos.
I know how hard waiting can be and I work hard to get your photos delivered as quickly as possible. I edit up 5-10 sneak peeks for you within 48 hours of your session. However, I ask that you allow up to 4 weeks to receive your final edited gallery.
Yes! Choosing your photographer is such a big decision I think it's essential to hop on a call and make sure we are a good fit. I'll be spending your entire day with y'all, so I want to make sure you're picking up what I'm putting down, ya know? While it may not always be possible to meet in person, I would love to hop on a Facetime or Zoom call. If we happen to find ourselves in the same area, I would LOVE to get together, give y'all a hug, and talk all about your day!
Most couples typically reserve their day 8-12 months in advance, and I don't accept bookings more than 18 months out. You never know what's going to come up in the next year and a half, right? That being said, all of this is what is typical. If you don't fit in this box no worries! Shoot me an email and check my availability.
I understand the sticker shock that comes once you tack on travel costs to a package, which is why I've decided to include basic travel fees in all of my wedding and elopement packages! As long as I can get to you on a standard commercial flight or a 2WD car, my costs are totally covered! If your adventure includes special transportation (like helicoptering or off roading) or specific accommodations (think mountain hut or a remote resort/eco lodge) let's talk and get you a custom quote!
Also, if I'm traveling, I will often try to schedule multiple sessions in that place. If you want an elopement or adventure session somewhere I'm already going to be I may be able to offer a discount. Check out my travel schedule to see where I'm already headed!
I get it. Permits can be super confusing! That's why I'm here to guide you every step of the way!! During the planning process we will go over multiple locations which may or may not require a permit. If your chosen spot does require a permit, it's ultimately your responsibility to obtain and pay for the necessary authorizations for your session. Don't worry! I'll direct you on who you should contact, how far in advance you need to book (usually the sooner the better), and how much permits for your selected location will cost. Easy peasy!
My mom always said there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad gear! Every wedding day is unique and that includes the weather. I firmly believe that you can have an epic and awesome day no matter what Mother Nature throws our way. That being said, I also make sure to have multiple plan B options we can utilize if necessary.
In short, no. I want you to have the absolute BEST images to remember your day and RAW files are, without getting too technical, just that...raw and unfinished images. These files only represent the starting point of your final gallery. I make sure to edit each image and correct for things like exposure and color in order to achieve work comparable to the images you've seen here. Don't worry! I deliver all usable images to you. I only remove the weird blinking or unflattering ones where I caught you at a weird angle. I've got you!
